Benjamin’s incredible movie themed Bar Mitzvah featured lots Hollywood elements all throughout the decor. ● The amazing centerpieces were the highlight. For these displays, the artwork of several blockbuster movie posters was transformed to star Benjamin. His face was seamlessly integrated into each image by Santa Barbara Photography. ● Our floral designers created beautiful arrangements of red roses for the base of each centerpiece. ● Many of Benjamin’s favorite movies were depicted. These included: Thor, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, Captain America, Star Trek, and the Hobbit. ● Gorgeous red fabrics and party lighting added the finishing touches to this wonderful celebration that was fit for a star.
Last week on the Dalsimer Atlas blog, we featured a beautiful Wedding, an art Bat Mitzvah, and a Bar Mitzvah with a hockey theme. Scroll down to see the posts you might have missed. Enjoy!
Numerous hockey theme elements were used in the decor for Jake’s Bar Mitzvah celebration. ● A hockey jersey mounted on a board in the lobby made a fun sign-in board for the guests. ● In the ballroom, each guest table was decorated with a unique centerpiece that beautifully combined: hydrangeas, trick, willow branches, orchids, and hanging amaranthus. Each centerpiece was set atop a tall glass cylinder that was filled with floating orchids. ● The custom table markers were designed to look like a hockey jersey. ● The kids’ area and the perimeter of the ballroom were both decorated with many hockey theme signs. These included giant images of Jake playing hockey, NHL logos, and signs from national advertisers. ● An awesome hockey arena display was created for the candle lighting ceremony. ● A highlight of the decor was the hockey rink layout that was placed on the dance floor along with Jake’s party logo.
Kayla and David chose a romantic sand dune setting with the Atlantic ocean as a background for their outdoor wedding ceremony on Jupiter Beach. ● For the ceremony area, a simple wooden cross was beautifully decorated with a floral arrangement of hydrangea, roses, and Matthiola in the antique tones of white, cream, and champagne. ● A border of champagne rose petals lined both sides of the aisle and rose petals were clustered at the base of the cross as well. ● A lovely bridal bouquet of white peonies and champagne roses was designed for Kayla. Her attendants carried all champagne roses with accents of green foliage. David wore an elegant boutonnière of miniature white roses. ● The reception took place in the ballroom of the Jupiter Beach Resort. The centerpieces were low, lush arrangements of champagne roses, seeded eucalyptus and variegated Oregonia foliage. White lanterns were set within the center of these displays. ● The Royal Table was adorned with an exquisite garland of ornamental foliage and roses that spanned the length of the table. ● We wrapped the dance floor with a white, high-gloss vinyl overlay for a seamless look. ● Delicate placements of peonies, roses, and lisianthus provided the finishing touch to the couple’s stylish cake.
During the past month on the Dalsimer Atlas blog, we featured four beautiful Weddings and two amazing Bar Mitzvahs. Click below to see the posts you might have missed. Enjoy!
Melanie’s lovely white and ivory bouquet was designed with roses, baby orchids, miniature calla lilies, and lisianthus. Her Matron and Maid of Honor held pretty bouquets of pink and ivory roses, white miniature calla lilies, and white Matthiola. Her bridesmaids carried similarly styled gathers of flowers. Jarred wore an elegant ivory rose boutonnière. ● Melanie and Jarred exchanged vows beneath a contemporary chuppah with clear acrylic columns. An exquisite crown of white, ivory, and pink flowers encompassed the upper portion of the chuppah. ● The aisle was lined with glass containers filled with orchids submerged in water and then topped with floating candles. ● High and low centerpieces were alternated throughout the ballroom to create a unique look for the reception. The flower selection included pink and ivory roses, white hydrangeas, white orchids, and white Matthiola. The elevated floral displays were set atop tall glass vases with white orchid stems submerged within each vase. ● The couple sat at a sweetheart table that featured a cascading floral display of the same selection of flowers used in the guest table centerpieces. ● We added a delicate floral topper of roses and hydrangeas to the couple’s beautiful wedding cake.
Sports of all kinds are a popular choice for Bar Mitzvahs. We incorporated Jason’s love of baseball throughout the decor for his celebration. ● The lobby decor included a baseball stadium “entrance” complete with a vintage functional turnstile. ● Guests viewed their seating assignments on a television monitor, provided by Premier, that set up in the lobby. ● The cocktail tables were decorated simply with baseballs and wheat grass nestled in small glass cubes. ● In the ballroom, a unique centerpiece was designed for the adult guest tables. Silver truss stands created a modern industrial look that was enhanced with a stunning floral arrangement placed on top. The flower selection included: hydrangeas, calla lilies, delphinium orchids, myrtle, and Bells of Ireland in the party colors of blue, lime green, and white. Each truss stand was illuminated from within with green lighting. The base of the stand was surrounded by a collection of wheat grass.
The entrance to the Kids’ Area was framed in aluminum trussing. A sign with Jason’s logo was suspended above this entrance. ● The kids’ lounge area featured our ultra modern, plexiglass tables, framed in aluminum. Each table was lit from within with vibrant blue lighting. Custom tabletops featured Jason’s party logo. ● The seating for the kids’ area also included comfortable couches and coffee tables that were also personalized with the event logo. For fun, our artists created 2 larger than life props of Toronto Blue Jays players: José Bautista and Josh Donaldson. ● The dance floor was decorated with Jason’s baseball party logo placed in the center of the floor. ● A custom display was created for the candle lighting ceremony with candles floating on a green gel.
It was a pleasure for the Dalsimer Atlas team to travel to Indianapolis to create the decor for Mackenzie and Michael’s wedding. ● The bride held a beautiful bouquet of white roses and white stephanotis with accents of pink spray roses, and green foliage. Her attendants carried similarly styled bouquets of white hydrangeas, ivory roses, and blush pink roses. ● Soft, neutral tones were used to create an elegant style for Mackenzie and Michael’s reception. Each of the guest tables was decorated with a gorgeous centerpiece set atop a tall glass vase that was surrounded by candles. The flower selection included: white and ivory roses, white hydrangea, and white and blush pink orchids. ● The couple sat at a sweetheart table that featured a lovely floral display of the same selection of flowers used in the guest table centerpieces. ● The cake was finished with a topper of roses, and a delicate design of orchid blossoms cascading down the cake and surrounding the base.
Our designers used a color palette of blue, white, lavender, and fuchsia to create a bold, yet sophisticated style for Alana and Jordan’s wedding. ● Alana chose an elegant bridal bouquet of Picasso calla lilies. Jordan wore a matching Picasso calla lily boutonniere. The bridesmaids carried gathers of fuchsia miniature calla lilies. ● The couple were married beneath a romantic canopy designed with soft drapes of sheer organza. A luxuriant crown of flowers was set along the top, and petite clusters of coordinating flowers adorned each post. ● Beautiful floral arrangements, set on fabric columns, enhanced the ceremony area and lined the aisle. ● A lovely place card table display was the focal point of the lobby. An arrangement of hydrangeas and orchids was set atop a glass cylinder filled with floating orchids. ● High and low centerpieces were alternated throughout the ballroom to create a unique look for the reception. The flower selection included: blue and white hydrangeas, plus lavender and fuchsia Matthiola. The elevated floral displays were set atop tall cylinder vases with dendrobium orchid stems submerged within the vase. ● The couple sat at a sweetheart table for two decorated with a low, lush centerpiece of flowers similar to those used in the floral displays on the guests’ tables. ● A floral cake topper and delicate placements of flowers provided the finishing touch to the couple’s cake.
