The City of Aventura made a beautiful backdrop for the first part of this contemporary wedding. The vibrant blue sky, towering palms, signature skyline, and trademark golf course could not have been more perfect to capture Danielle and Evan’s first-look. The bride carried a nosegay design of all white miniature calla lilies wrapped in a satin ribbon. Her bridesmaids carried a similar design while the groomsmen sported coordinating boutonnieres and flashy socks from Miami’s favorite NBA team.
Although the couple loved the bright colors of the city, the color palette was kept formal with whites and creams. After the preliminary photo shoot, the bridal party traveled to the Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus where the ceremony and reception would take place.
The aisle received decorative stanchions along with an abundance of florals and cylinder vases holding LED illuminated candles. A full flowing hedge of hydrangeas, roses, miniature calla lilies, and dendrobium orchids sat atop the chuppah which was also enhanced with suspended glass enclosed LED candles and dramatic up-lighting. A faux rose wall was positioned at the rear of the mirrored four-post structure to create a modern, yet romantic setting. Later in the evening, it was repurposed as great scenery for the photo booth.
The ballroom dining tables had a combination of stylish arrangements. Some had tall glass vases full of lush flowers while others featured multi-level displays of vases with market floral clusters, submerged orchids, and floating candles on a mirrored base. The last alternating centerpiece had an assortment of bud vases, square cubes, and mirrored risers highlighting roses. Yet, the green trick gave it all a pop of color.
Of course, Executive Caterers served up a hot feast while South Florida’s Heatwave Band turned up the heat on the dance floor. The newlyweds most definitely enjoyed their hot and happening North Miami Beach affair, but their memories will be forever frozen.
