“Natalie Takes New York” was the theme for Natalie’s amazing Bat Mitzvah celebration at Congregation Kol Tikvah. ● The New York theme began in the lobby where decor elements were created to suggest a subway entrance and platform. ● Colorful artwork depicting New York eateries served as backdrops for the various food stations around the cocktail room. The cocktail table centerpieces were large glass bowls filled with apples, a fun play on New York City’s nickname: “The Big Apple.” ● Our in-house art department designed creative New York-themed centerpieces for the guest tables in the ballroom. These displays included many well-known New York landmarks such as The Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Broadway, Central Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, Rockefeller Center, the Chrysler Building, Radio City Music Hall, Grand Central Station, and Yankee Stadium. ● The decorative facade for the kids’ area included two large illuminated triangle towers decorated with images of Natalie and her custom party logo. A large sign that read “Natalie,” set in a Broadway marquee style, was placed above the entrance to this area.
