Venue: Boca Raton Resort and Club
Entertainment: The Shirelles

Guests at the 53rd Annual Boca Raton Regional Hospital Ball were transported back to the “Happy Days” of the late ’50s – early ‘60s.  ●  The retro feeling began at the valet area where several stylish classic cars from the 1950s were parked.  ●  The fun continued inside the ballroom where the focal point was a dramatic mobile comprised of over 1,000 LP records suspended from the ceiling.  ●  Centerpieces were created for more than 90 tables. A variety of different styles were alternated around the room. All incorporated icons from the 50s/60s like retro-style telephones, old fashioned television sets, cheerleader megaphones, and more LP records.  ●  The decor included a 16 foot long Soda Fountain Counter complete with vintage barstools, signs, decor and props from the period.  ●  The nostalgic tone was completed by a special performance of the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, The Shirelles, who topped the charts in the early ‘60s with classic hits including: “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow,” “Dedicated to the One I Love,” “Tonight’s the Night,” “Mama Said,” and “Soldier Boy.”
